ROHS
The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2002/95/EC, (RoHS 1), short for Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union.
The RoHS 1 directive took effect on 1 July 2006, and is required to be enforced and become law in each member state. This directive restricts (with exceptions) the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment. It is closely linked with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) 2002/96/EC which sets collection, recycling and recovery targets for electrical goods and is part of a legislative initiative to solve the problem of huge amounts of toxic electronic waste. In speech, RoHS is often spelled out, or pronounced /ˈrɒs/, /ˈrɒʃ/, /ˈroʊz/, or /ˈroʊhɒz/, and refers to the EU standard, unless otherwise qualified.

GS Mark
GS-Mark is owned by the German government logo, developed in accordance with the German Equipment Safety Law (GSG), the unit in charge of ZLS, voluntary certification is recognized by the European Union. Electrical, mechanical or electrical products as long as printed with GS mark that is tested in accordance with the German product safety standards, the only product safety testing and certification laboratory accredited to grant GS mark. GS on behalf of the implications of the subjects products comply with the latest European or German standards. “GS” MARK flag indicates that the meaning of the test and security “is any product in the test units to comply with the relevant safety standards, and allowed to be marked on the product of the GS mark, to prove that the product has been subject to verification qualified. ETL SEMKO (formerly Electrical Testing Laboratory) is a division of Intertek Group plc (LSE: ITRK) specialising in electrical product safety testing, EMC testing, and benchmark performance testing. IECEE / CB-Scheme
The IECEE is the IEC System of Conformity Assessment Schemes for Electrotechnical Equipment and Components being a body of the International Electrotechnical Commission. The IEC CB Scheme is multilateral agreement to allow international certification of electrical and electronic products so that a single certification allows worldwide market access.
The predecessor of IECEE was a European body founded under the name of Commission internationale de réglementation en vue de l’approbation de l’équipement électrique (International commission on rules for the approval of electrical equipment)[3] known as CEE. Historically this certification process goes back to 1929 based on an initiative by the German VDE (Verband der Elektrotechnik, Elektronik und Informationstechnik).

PSE
From April 01, 2001, Japan “電氣產品控製法(DENTORI)” officially renamed“電氣用品安全法(DENAE)”, briefly named”Electrical Security Laws” and simultaneously use PSE mark (Product Safety of Electrical Appliance & Materials), it will strengthen the punishment rules of importers.
Mainly divide compulsory certified diamond PSE, circle PSE and voluntary certified S-Mark. The electrical products in Japan could be divided specific electrical products (diamond PSE, total 116 items) and non-specific electrical products (circle PSE, total 339 items), PSE application must be authorized by Japan economical verified units (as JET, JQA…) issue the formal certification then proceed Japan procedure by Japanese agents.

VCCI
The VCCI certification is for IT equipment of electromagnetic control, and it belongs to EMC certification. VCCI certification is non-compulsory, briefly, it’s voluntary certification. Only the member in the VCCI lab could do this certification with authority, therefore, the reports must be issued by the lab with authorized VCCI certification. The manufacturers have to be the member of VCCI first then could use VCCI mark, and the members have to pay the entrance fee and the member fee per year. The customers could use VCCI mark after receiving the testing report and pay the entrance fee and member fee.

BSMI (Bureau of Standard, Metrology and Inspection) The Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs is the authority responsible for standardization, metrology and product inspection in Taiwan.

NOM(Norma Oficial Mexicana)
NMX(Mexican Standards)
NOM is the Spanish abbreviation of Mexico official standard — Norma Official Mmoana, a mandatory safety mark, indicating the product matches the NOM standards. EMC is not necessary for NOM and IEC standards are not acceptable. Only NOM standards according to Mexico are permitted to follow. No matter the product is local produced in Mexico or imported from other country, it has to follow NOM standards and marking rules.
